Some say Chris D'Anda was destined for her varied careers as a salon owner, creative hair stylist and product developer. Her three major interests always were music, a love of animals, and hairstyling. Once a unique girl with big dreams, she diligently worked her way to the top as a respected Hollywood stylist.

Her first band attempt was disastrous as four clueless girls in her parent's garage. The band's focus was more on attitude than making music. Later on, she took up guitar and went on to be an accomplished bass player, performing at local clubs and venues. Chris still writes songs and is open to starting up a band again.

Chris’ childhood was an unusual one, with a menagerie of pets including deer. Although the deer have grown up and moved on, she still has a bevy of animals in her home. Nearly all of her happy pets have been rescues, and this modern day Snow White hopes to one day open a foundation for animals.

Her hairstyling career began in the early 1980's. She was 15 years old and tugging a friend's curly hair through a hi-lighting cap to create the ultimate big, blonde 'do. Chris was renown for her experiments on her own hair and her willingness to create new looks for her friends.

Ms. D’Anda attended beauty school and worked in a Japanese salon in Beverly Hills. At first, she was only allowed to shampoo hair, but in time she learned the skills of hair cutting from one of the best in the business. After several years, she moved on to a busy Beverly Hills salon, where the focus was more on who the clientele was rather than what service was being done. Ms. D'Anda sported long black hair with green streaks at that time and yearned for the perfect salon. From there she worked at a younger hip salon where work began in late afternoon and it resembled a party rather than a salon.

Je Jeune Salon began when Chris found an old house in Hollywood and converted it into her perfect dream of a studio. Others thought she was crazy to leave Beverly Hills but Je Jeune has thrived for the past ten years. She has organized charity hair events combining fashion, hairstyling and rock music. Chris was a national educator for a major hair company and owner of the product line Gothique Products. Gothique Products was born out of her image and influences of punk, rock and gothic culture. After three years of development, Gothique Products holds strong with its trendy packaging and high quality product. Chris D’Anda has big plans for 2006 with high profile hair shows and new Gothique product launches in the future.
